Rules & Regulations
Etiquette
- No jewellery may be worn during class.
- All students are expected to show courtesy, obedience, respect and loyalty to the Western Australia Chin Woo Athletic Association Inc.
- Disrespect and insolence will NOT be tolerated. Anyone showing signs of these will be asked to leave the Association, visitors included.
- All students must always uphold the reputation of Western Australia Chin Woo Athletic Association Inc. and NOT bring dishonour to the Association.
- All students must NOT teach any form of martial arts to any non-member(s) or member(s) privately without the consent or approval from the Instructor or the Association.
- Senior student(s) are NOT allowed to teach any form of martial arts to any junior student(s) without the consent or approval from the Instructor or the Association.
- Non members / parents of students are NOT allowed to teach members / students during the course of the class.
School Fees
- All students must pay monthly fees on or before the due date, irrespective of the number of times the member has attended classes during that month.
- Members’ Monthly fees and Membership fees may subject to change without prior written notice.
- Western Australia Chin Woo Athletic Association Inc. reserves the right to terminate or refuse membership at its own discretion, with no reason required.
Attendance
- Please attend the classes designated for you to ensure sufficient learning and training for all students.
- Be on time
- All students must notify Western Australia Chin Woo Athletic Association Inc. of any long term absence or cessation of training.
Uniform and Dress Code
- All students must, at all times, wear the appropriate uniform to class. The appropriate dress code includes:
- Shirt: Blue or white Western Australia Chin Woo shirt with a Chin Woo logo on the shirt. Other Chin Woo shirts from other affiliated schools are also allowed.
- Pants: Loose black pants. Preferrably the black kungfu pants or black jogging pants.
- Shoes: Light weight shoes with rubber soles and laces. They should not reach above your ankle. Please wear either black or white shoes only.
Weapon and Sparring
- All students learning weapons/sparring must purchase their own gear weapons/gear to train with.
- All students are responsible for bringing their own equipment to class.
- All students must use their own weapons/gear in class.
- All students must treat weapons with the respect they deserve.
